12V-2A AGM Battery Charger, Maintainer, and Desulfator for Odyssey, Optima AGM Batteries

The BatteryMINDer 2012-AGM is a SmarTECHnology microprocessor-controlled charger/maintainer/desulfator designed for High-Performance AGM Sealed Batteries such as Odyssey, Hawker, and other AGM batteries that contain Pure Lead Thin Plate Technology (PLT). The "Plug 'n Run" feature means there are no buttons to push, and the charger is fully automatic with 7 stages, actively monitoring the battery's voltage, amperage acceptance, and temperature at all times. It will not overcharge the battery, regardless of how long it's connected, and the temperature compensation ensures proper charging in hot or cold environments.

The installed ambient temperature sensor for a 0°F–130°F operating range ensures the battery will never be overcharged or undercharged, regardless of temperature extremes. An optional "at the battery" sensor is also available for greater accuracy when the battery and charger are not in the same ambient temperature environment. The charger features diagnostic LED indicators for power, polarity reversal, battery weak, load, bad cell, testing, desulfating, temperature compensation, charging stage, and charge level.

The BatteryMINDer 2012-AGM maximizes battery life and capacity, and can recondition weak batteries. The "Plug 'n Run" operation means there are no buttons to push. The package includes the Model 2012-AGM Charger-Maintainer-Desulfator, an installed Ambient Temperature Sensor, a 2' Battery Clip Cord with Quick Connector, a 2' Fused Ring Terminal, and a 6' AC and 6' DC cord.

The automatic full-time desulfator uses a patented range of high-frequency pulse desulfation (not high voltage) to safely remove sulfation and recondition weak 12V AGM batteries. Sulfated batteries once considered beyond recovery can now be brought back to long-term useful condition, extending battery life up to four times compared to new batteries not being properly maintained.

The installed temperature compensation precisely adjusts battery voltage based on temperature sensor readings, ensuring the battery is always properly charged and maintained, regardless of the conditions it's subjected to. The charger also provides reverse polarity, short-circuit, and over-temperature protection.

The BatteryMINDer 2012-AGM can maintain up to six 12V AGM batteries (of the same type) at a time when connected in parallel, using Y-Connectors 210AY (sold separately). It is designed for High-Performance AGM Sealed Batteries and has a worldwide 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz input.
